Isn't it time to walk in faith and give it all were got? We will never have this time again in our lives. We will look back one day with regrets or with the knowledge that we have lived fully? I choose to live my life in faith. What about you?
There is a cost, no matter what we choose. If we live only for today and take no thought of the future, we will pay for our lack of forethought. And if we dive in fully, penetrate the darkness and shake things up there will be repercussions. Have you noticed that sloth doesn't enjoy others pro activity. When I want to be lazy I sure don't appreciate it when my husband announces that we are going to clean out the dark grimy corners of the garage where who knows whats hiding. The darkness doesn't like it when the light gets turned on and we wake up and take action.
There is a cost in bringing life to those around us, BUT have you heard about the rewards? I'd rather risk the repercussions of the battle than sit on the sidelines any day. Is there really a choice?
I don't always get it right. Sometimes I need you to remind me of what faith looks like. I need you to take my hand and lead me to the light when I can only see grey. If you're like me you want to be a flaming torch, that's counted faithful. That's why we need each other if we want to leave a well worn path for our children and those that will follow of an unrelenting pursuit of life lived for Christ. Are you up for the climb?
