Yesterday, I celebrated a wonderful birthday and what made is so significant was God's sweet timing. I always end a year, by seeking God for vision for the next year and as providence would have it, Mark and I spent my birthday giving voice for the first time to the dreams the Holy Spirit has been birthing in our hearts.
My heart lept as we invisioned our future, having a home or facility that would minister to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of girls and women who have been victimized by human trafficking. We really don't know what this would look like, but if it's easy to imagine accomplishing a dream, than it's too small to include God. And I've been way too guilty of containing micro-sized dreams in relation to a macro-sized God.
