Moxie Goes California

For those of you who know my story personally, or have perused the pages of my current website, (it’s in the process of a overhaul and name change) you know that I was once a Hollywood actress. Now after nearly a thirty year pilgrimage away from the creative peeps of my sister land, my family and I are heading back to the “state of Hollywood” with a family vision and mission.

We are ready to return after what’s seemed like years of being refugees in a foreign land. During the years of separation from the “Holly hood” along with mockingly being tagged “Miss Hollywood,” the detour of squashing my creative self, and learning to adapt to the culture and language of a different land, I have somehow managed to produce four off the charts creative kids.

One friend described the journey of these years as my own belly of the whale experience preempting a rebirth. Little did I imagine that my entire creative family would one day spit the salt from our mouths as we now look upon the land we were taught to shun as a fertile soil.

As we are about to be plopped upon the shores of California, our hearts see a grand vista waiting beyond the warmth of the womb that has nurtured us. Most people realize that without complete moxie and audacity it’s impossible to take the giant leap from womb to destiny. So as we jump please cheer us on as we venture into a world that desperately needs coaches that live from the heart, ooze creativity, and were in many ways made for this time and place.
