I read a quote today stating that deep within man dwells astonishing powers, so astonishing that we’ve never imagined the depths, but if awakened and put into action would revolutionize our lives.
Yet for must of us there certainly is the need for awakening. We’ve gotten comfortable and complacent in our own back yards. But what if for a moment we could look past our laundry, our to-do lists, our heartaches and raise our vision higher? What if we pulled our lenses out even further and grasped the expanse of humanity, those in need next door, down the street or across the globe?
What if we began to grasp an inking of the scale of Divinity? Maybe then God could truly arouse the greatness inside us. Then maybe our capacity would be enlarged and we’d be astounded by God-size power.
