If you were given a free ticket to go anywhere you wanted, would you jump on board the train and go to every wild and wonderful destination you could imagine, or would you trudge along through the doldrums of life with the ticket tucked in your pocket until it expired?
I imagine most people would say that they would grab the ticket and take off on indescribable destinations. Yet, often when I ask many clients what they want in their life, often I hear, “I don’t know.”
We all have been given the same free ticket to life. Not one of us did anything to get ourselves here. We had no part in our creation. Yet, too often we don’t recognize that we have the freewill to design the ride of our choice, and take ownership of the ride we choose.
If you could (and you can) choose to live an intentional life of your design, or a dutiful existence of catering only to everyone else' desires, what would you choose? I bet you would say that you want to be intentional about your life. So how will you get from where you are today, to where you desire to be tomorrow? Consistent, focused, daily action, will allow you to drive your life anywhere you want to take it. Are you the driver in your life?
